My internet connection is as bad as this show was good.
-Live from San Antonio, Texas
-Your hosts are Cole and King
-Recap of the final segment on last week’s show. That actually felt like a big Raw moment watching it live, so WWE didn’t even need to fudge the video package. Gotta love Bret beating Khali to the ring too. Read the rest of this entry

I’m doing the Raw and Smackdown reviews now… wanna fight about it?
-Live from Tulsa, Oklahoma
-Your hosts are Mr. Vintage and Mr. Puppies
-Money in the Bank witnessed a number of huge happenings on the Raw brand as Sheamus retained the WWE championship after some interference by Nexus, and Miz apparently took the next step towards main event status by winning Money in the Bank. Both the Hart Dynasty and Alicia Fox retained their respective championships. Now we’re on the road to Summerslam. Before I get into Raw, three things. I’m not going to time the television matches because of commercial breaks and brevity. Also, I’m not going to bother with play-by-play since everyone else does that. Instead, you get snarkiness and analysis (sometimes at the same time). Finally, I apologize for no Raw or Smackdown reports last week. It’s my responsibility to insure that all the shows get reviewed eventually despite other people perhaps feeling differently. For the time being, I’ll be handling both Raw and Smackdown. Now on to the show. Read the rest of this entry

I had planned on reviewing it tonight before Raw, but when I sat down to watch the DVD, my local MyNetworkTV decided that it would be awesome to have a still picture of a 70s Show promo for 10, 20 minutes, maybe longer. So, instead, I’ll just focus on Monday Night Raw. If the rumors are true, tonight’s show will be pretty tame. Not that the WWE isn’t tame to begin with. Word on the web is that members from Rob Simmons campaign (the man running against Linda McMahon for a US Senate position) will be in Bridgeport, CT for Raw trying to dig up some mud to sling. I don’t always buy into the rumor mill, and I hope this isn’t the case. WWE can’t really get much tamer. Read the rest of this entry

With the WWE Universe still buzzing about last weeks’ NXT Invasion, we head into Monday Night Raw with even more controversy. Friday night the WWE fired Bryan Danielson. Yes, if you’ve been under a rock the past two or three days, the WWE released the wrestler known as Daniel Bryan because of his choking Justin Roberts with his own tie. Rumors and speculation ran rampant. Is it a work, is it a shoot? WWE Champion John Cena tweeted about signing a petition to bring AmDrag back into the ‘E. Some believe this is a sign that the whole firing is a work. Hopefully we’ll all get answers tonight, though as World Wrestling Entertainment starts its final Raw before the Fatal Four Way PPV.
